Attending a class & attendance

A class is conducted online using Google Meet session and the Google Classroom both. Every student must join the Meet session as well as open the Classroom at the same time.

Steps

  1. Sign in to your Classroom account as in the section Sign in to your Classroom.

  2. Once done you would see all your classes shown on the Classes Dashboard.

  3. Click the dotted orb and click Calendar.

  4. Click your desired event / class.

  5. Click Join with Google Meet.

  6. Click Join now on the next screen.

  7. You are in the class make sure you microphone is mute.

  8. Your attendance would be marked automatically as soon as you join the class. The teacher may take subsequent attendance during and at the end of the class.

  9. You must also open your respective Google Classroom during the interactive above Meet session.
