Providing Access of Student Docs to Examinations Deptt.

After logging in to the G Suite account via Google Classroom or Gmail. Click on 9 dots grid on top right and click on drive.

The user will land into Google drive of the G Suite ID account. Make a new folder by right click on any empty space on the main page of drive and select new folder.

Give name to the folder with Course code followed by Examinations. Course code below is just a sample for explanation.

Place all the exam related documents and forms that are submitted by the students to the teachers.

Right click on the folder and select share.

Enter the email address of the G Suite ID of examinations department. Select the role as editor as mentioned in the snap below. Finally select the send button.

The folder has shared with examinations department G Suite ID successfully. Now all documents and sub folders are also shared with exams department ID. The documents related to examinations can only be placed in this folder because exams department has now been added as editor at this folder. After the folder is shared with exams, it may take few hours before the exam is able to see the files present in the shared folder.
