Recording a lecture using Open Broadcaster Software (OBS)

3. Click Video and set all as depicted below;

4. Click Hotkeys set as under (or as desired). Click Apply and Save.

5. Add your Audio source to the scene by clicking + and select Audio input capture.

6. In usual cases if you have already connected you mic you have to choose Add existing and select your device > OK.

7. Click the setting icon and select filters as shown below;

8. Add the Compressor and Noise Suppression > Close.

9. Now add Display Capture (as in same above manner) to record your entire screen > OK.

10. Click Capture cursor > OK. Your final settings should look like as under;

11. Now start recording by either clicking Start Recording and minimizing OBS or simply minimize and pressing Ctrl+F9to start recording.

12. As soon as you go through step 11 your screen would be recorded until you press Ctrl+P to pause or Ctrl +F10 to stop recording.d

13. Once done you can go to you Videos folder and use you video file.
