Set up Gmail with a third-party email client

Sign in to your google account on any web browser and go to Quick settings.

Go to settings to enable “Forwarding and POP/IMAP”, follow the numbers and Save changes.

2. Go to Tab "Forwarding and POP/IMAP”
3. Enable POP (Enable POP for all mail )
4. Enable IMAP (Auto-Expunge on)
5. Save Changes.

Go to Manage your Google Account settings.

Go to Security.

Scroll down to Less Secure app access and make sure it is off.

Open Outlook from Windows Programs.

Add your email account.

Add Password, IMAP incoming server and Secure connection type settings

    • IMAP incoming server: imap.gmail.com

    • Port: 993

    • Secure connection type: SSL/TLS (recommended)

Add outgoing server settings

    • SMTP Outgoing server: smtp.gmail.com

    • Port: 587

    • Secure connection type: StartTLS

and continue.

Continue.

Here it will give error, then go to Advanced Setup.

Choose Gmail option.

Click to Continue.

After continue, it will ask for permission, window will pop up and enter you Email account and Password.

Once you enter your Email account, it may ask for Password, enter it then click on continue.

Select all the permissions.

After select all permissions, click to continue.

After clicking on continue you will see your inbox on outlook.

Open Thunderbird from Programs.

To Set Up Email Account, Click on Email button

Enter you credentials, Email address and Password, then click on Continue.

Once you found in green, Configuration found in Mozilla ISP database, then click on done.

After clicking on Done, Window will pop for OAuth Authorization, enter your Username and Password, then click on Next.

Allow, Thunderbird Email to access your Google Account.

Once you allow, Account successfully created and click on Finish button.
